Killer Bees is a fat burner that claims to promote a couple of different benefits that is supposed to help you manage your weight. These benefits include the increase of your body’s metabolic rates, the curbing of your appetite, and the boosting of your energy levels to heighten your performance levels throughout the day.

The supplement is created by a company called Hypergenetic Labs, and it claims to promote these benefits with the use of three specialized proprietary blends. Now, proprietary blends tend to be an immediate red flag when it comes to fat burner supplements. These are a mixture of ingredients that form a blend that a supplement claims is effective for fat burning.

The problem with these blends, is that they give the company opportunity to hide the amounts of a certain ingredient in their formula. For example, if you look at the Killer Bees supplements nutritional label, you will only see the amount of the blend in total – as well as the ingredients used in said blend.

Ingredients in Killer Bees

In this breakdown, we’ll focus on the formulation of each proprietary blend and whether the potency of each can actually back the claims of the Killer Bees supplement. Things of note, the label warns against the use of this supplement eight hours before sleep. They suggest that it be taken in the morning or pre-workout.

The recommended dosage is 1 capsule per day, and the serving size described in the label is based on that recommendation. The company also warns that if you experience any side-effects whilst taking the pill daily, you can take the pill every other day instead.

Thermogenic Buzz Complex

This is the first proprietary blend mentioned in the label, and it makes up 155 mg of the formula. There are five ingredients in this blend, and it is the one that encompasses the fat burning qualities that the Killer Bees supplement claims to have.

N-Phenethyl Dimethylamine: This is the first ingredient mentioned in the making of this proprietary blend. This has not been studied quite as thoroughly as the others, but it’s been said to have the same levels of effectiveness as Ephedrine and DMAAs which have long since been banned and can no longer be included in supplements.

Cocoa Extract: This is something that can be found in foods like dark chocolate – which has proven to be effective as a fat burner because of the caffeine and theobromine molecules inside of it. It’s supplemented at 5-26 grams and can temporarily cause a spike in an individual’s insulin intake, promoting the burning of fat.

White Willow: There is a substance inside of white willow bark, called salicin. It’s mostly used as a pain reliever – it should be noted that ingesting large amounts of it may cause kidney failure.

Cayenne Pepper Extract: Also called capsicum, cayenne pepper extract has actually proven to effectively boost up a person’s metabolism. Although the oral consumption of it may cause an irritation in the throat.

All-Day Euphoric Energy Complex

This is the proprietary blend inside of Killer Bees that has been said to increase a person’s level of performance with ingredients that are meant to sharpen a person’s focus and provide a little jump in energy levels as well. This blend makes up 470 milligrams of the formula, and uses five ingredients.

Caffeine Anhydrous: Caffeine is a well-known ingredient, and it’s not uncommon to find it in fat burner supplements. In fact, it’s much rarer to find fat burner supplements without it – which makes its presence in the Killer Bees formula not so surprising. It is known to boost a person’s mental and physical faculties at doses of 200-500 milligrams.

DiCaffeine Malate (Infinergy): This is a product trademarked by a company called Creative Compounds LLC. It’s not much different from caffeine – it promotes the same increase in energy levels. The only difference is that it’s mixed with another compound called Malate.

Griffonia simplicifolia: This has been said to have appetite reduction effects. However, more research needs to be conducted before this effect is proven in humans.

Hordenine HCL: Because of its relation to the fat burning hormones inside of the human body, it’s been theorized as an effective fat burner ingredient. However, much like the previous ingredient, the levels of its effectiveness have yet to be confirmed.

N-Acetyl-Tyrosine: This is an amino acid that has been known to promote the production of lean muscles. Unfortunately, it has not been proved to have said effects.

Appetite Suppression Matrix

This is the proprietary blend in the formula that claims to be able suppress one’s appetite. There are 50 milligrams of it in the Killer Bees formula, and it is made out of five ingredients. Notable ingredients are Raspberry Ketones and Yohimbe HCL, both of which are popularly used in many fat burner supplements. Unfortunately, neither are known to promote significant effects.
